- Observed and picked up several good programming practices
- Gained a deeper understanding of Spring Boot annotations
- Learnt about how to write integration tests through mocks
- Developed a better understanding of Scrum methodology
What are the difficulties/challenges you faced during the past month, if any? How did you overcome (or plan to overcome) them?
- Some issues with setting up the development environment, but managed to resolve it through Googling and help of mentor
- Difficulty understanding several business jargon, consulted internal documentation and team Wiki.
What do you plan to accomplish during the next month?
- Develop a better understanding of the backend architecture to improve development speed
- Further improve understanding of the various Spring Boot annotations
- Learn to write better integration tests
- Gain a deeper understanding of the various software tools used in the project
